There are discussions among members of the Rail Passenger Association about expanding the Amtrak Board of Directors. Too many are way too focused on the Northeast Corridor. As you know I’ve ridden both the Acela, the old version, and the Regional train on the NEC. Great experience I think a lot of people would enjoy. But not everyone wants to go to the east coast just a ride a train.
You know me, I want to see passenger rail expanded across the middle of America. There are many who believe this, which is why we are talking about expanding the Board and getting a more balanced perspective.
So I chimed up, how does one get nominated to join the Board? Because you know, just asking.
